The Producers Guild of America has announced its 2025 PGA Awards nominations across film and TV categories.
For the guild’s top film prize, the Daryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, the nominees are Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, A Real Pain, September 5, The Substance and Wicked.
Last year, Oppenheimer won the Zanuck Award ahead of winning the best picture Oscar. Twelve of the past 15 Oscar best picture winners have won the Zanuck award.

On the TV side, the drama series nominees are Bad Sisters, The Diplomat, Fallout, Shogun and Slow Horses. The comedy series nominees are Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks and Only Murders in the Building. And limited or anthology series nominees are Baby Reindeer, Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans, The Penguin, Ripley and True Detective: Night Country.
The guild had initially planned to announce its film and TV nominees last Friday but the announcement was postponed twice, first to Sunday, Jan. 12 and then to “next week” amid the wildfires raging across Los Angeles.
The guild also extended its voting window after the fires broke out last week, giving members until Saturday to vote on this year’s nominees.
The Producers Guild has also established a fund, in partnership with the Entertainment Community Fund, to support producers affected by the fires.
The guild is contributing a portion of net proceeds from the Producers Guild Awards to the fund and members are donating, with $300,000 already committed.
The fires have prompted numerous delays to awards season events. The Critics Choice Awards, originally set for Jan. 12, have also been postponed twice, first to Jan. 26 and then to an unannounced future date. While the Grammys and Oscars are moving forward with their planned awards ceremonies on Feb. 2 and March 2, respectively, those celebrations have been curtailed, and the Oscars extended the voting window for Academy members to vote on this year’s nominees, with the nominations announcement postponed twice, initially until Sunday, Jan. 19 and then until Thursday, Jan. 23.
The PGA already announced nominations in its documentary, sports, children’s and shortform content categories.
The 36th Producers Guild Awards will be presented, at a ceremony that will also raise awareness for the fund, on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
