The 2025 Writers Guild Awards nominations have been delayed again.
The WGA is the latest organization to further postpone an awards announcement amid the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires.
The guild was originally set to announce this year’s nominees on Thursday, Jan. 9, but the announcement was delayed until Monday due to the fires. Now the reveal has been pushed back again.
“Due to ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, we will be delaying the announcement of Writers Guild Award nominees until further notice,” the guild said Monday in a statement from both its East and West Coast branches.
